Finding an accommodation in Paris or in its suburbs can be difficult, especially when you make your research far away from France, like in your home country!

But you have to know that many options are provided to you if you look for a place to stay ;)
This page is written to let you know all the housing solution that you have on the market to find a flat!

Before we give you the housing list solution, we would like to tell you that in Paris you will have to look for a flat.
That might be your own flat or a flat to share with flatmate.
If you don't want to deal with a private landlord, you can choose to live in students' residence.

In the suburbs you might find some flat or a house to share with other students.
Of course, you also have plenty students residences in the suburbs ;)

Here come the lists of all the accommodation type you can find for your stay in Paris:

  • Students Residences - Public Hall of Residences
Provided by the support of the states, those residences are for students who already have a grant or a scholarship in their home country.
You'll find more information on Crous Students' Residences here ;)
  • Students - Young Workers Residences - Private Hall of Residences
Made for all the young people, those residences are managed by private companies or helping students organizations.
Admission conditions might differ between those Halls of Residences so it's pretty difficult to let you an overview here. The best option is to apply directly to this free residence list to have a better idea of what you can find.
By the way, in most of those residences you will find more than just a bed or an accommodation.
Hall of Residences is the perfect place to meet lots of people in the common area and to be part of the great event organized by the students' residence staff ;)
More information and full Hall of Residence list for Paris and its suburbs here!

.... to be continued ;)
