Erasmus of Paris Soirée Généraliste‏

Salut à toi le zèbre de soirée !

Erasmus of Paris Parties fait son come-back, tiens-toi prêt pour une nouvelle soirée clubbing complétement déjantée !

Erasmus of Paris Parties c'est :

  • Des soirées caliente avec des fêtards venant du monde entier (étudiants étrangers, Erasmus, voyageurs...)
  • Une nouvelle façon de voir le monde en rencontrant plein de gens sympa venu des 4 coins du monde
  • Une façon OP de pimenter ta vie, passer de bons moments entre amis et lâcher prise sur le dance floor

L'équipe d'Erasmus of Paris est heureuse de te présenter sa soirée d'échange linguistique Anglais-Français / Français-Anglais.

Mais qu'est-ce qu'un échange linguistique ?

Un échange linguistique, aussi appelé échange polyglotte (plusieurs langues) ou atelier de conversation, est un moyen sympa, amusant et sans prise de tête pour apprendre une nouvelle langue en la pratiquant directement en entrant en contact avec les gens du pays.

Participer et devenir assidu aux échanges linguistiques proposés par Erasmus of Paris te permettras avant tout :

  • de pratiquer ton Anglais avec des anglophones, si tu es français 
  • d'améliorer et d'apprendre le français si tu es anglophone
  • de rencontrer des gens du monde entier et de te faire des nouveaux amis pour sortir et t’amuser ! 
  • de discuter de ce qui te fait vibrer dans une ambiance conviviale et détendue :)


A quoi ressemblent les échanges linguistiques proposés par Erasmus of Paris ?


Les soirées d'échanges linguistiques proposés par Erasmus of Paris ont lieux dans une ambiance conviviale et détendue.

L'échange linguistique Anglais-Français / Français-Anglais se déroule ....... (frequency) dans le bar ..... de 20:00 à 23:00.

L'entrée est gratuite mais le règle commune est que tu prennes au moins 1 boisson une fois sur place.
Bien sur rien ne t'oblige à consommer de l'alcool, tu es libre de décider si tu préfères consommer un soft ou une boisson alcoolisée.

Pendant l'échange linguistique Anglais-Français / Français-Anglais tu pourras discuter en couple ou avec un groupe de plusieurs personnes en fonction de ton humeur du moment.

Voici maintenant une liste, non exhaustive, de sujets de conversation que tu pourras trouver lors des échanges linguistique que nous te proposons.

Tu peux donc aborder des sujets de conversation plus ou moins sérieux tel que
:

  • Ce que tu as faits lors de la précédente soirée
  • Où tu iras pour ta prochaine soirée
  • Ton plat préféré
  • A quoi ressemble la nourriture de ton pays
  • Quel est le meilleur jeu à boire que tu as essayé
  • Ce que tu aimes faire à Paris
  • Ou tu souhaites voyager
  • Discuter des trucs et astuces à mentionner sur un CV en vue d'obtenir un travail
  • etc

Echanges Linguistique Erasmus of Paris

Oyé oyé amigos y amigas,

L'équipe d'Erasmus of Paris est chaud patate de te présenter ses soirées d'échange linguistique dans une ambiance conviviale et détendue =)

Mais dis-moi, c'est quoi un échange linguistique ?

C'est un truc genre club échangiste ou on se roule des pelles ???

A priori, pas à première vue, après tu es libre tu tisser des liens pendant l'échange ;)

Revenons-en à nos moutons un échange linguistique, aussi appelé échange polyglotte (plusieurs langues) ou atelier de conversation, est un moyen sympa, amusant et sans prise de tête pour apprendre une nouvelle langue en la pratiquant directement en entrant en contact avec les gens du pays.

Parce que c'est quand même plus sympa de pratiquer avec les gens du cru... heiiiin?!! (accent Chtimi xD)

Participer et devenir assidu aux échanges linguistiques proposés par Erasmus of Paris te permettras avant tout :

  • de pratiquer ton Anglais ou toute autre langue que tu souhaites apprendre avec des gens du pays en question, si tu es français 
  • d'améliorer et d'apprendre le français si tu viens de l'étranger
  • de rencontrer des gens du monde entier et de te faire des nouveaux amis pour sortir et t’amuser !

Comment se passe la soirée d'échange linguistique avec Erasmus of Paris

Avec Erasmus of Paris, pas de prise de tête, nous ne sommes pas là pour juger ton niveau en langue. 
Notre but est simplement de t'amener à pratiquer pour que tu puisses t'améliorer à ton rythme.

Peu importe si tu débute, si tu as déjà des bonnes notions ou si tu es un ninja de la conversation : tu es de toute façon bienvenue lors de nos échanges linguistiques ! 

Les échanges linguistiques proposé sur Erasmus of Paris se déroule dans une ambiance conviviale et détendue.
Les participants se rencontrent dans un café comme des amis de longue date, autour d'un verre, et discutent d'une multitude de sujet.

Pendant l'échange linguistique tu pourras discuter en couple ou bien en groupe selon tes envies du moment ;)

  • Echange linguistique Franco-Japonais / Japonais-Français

What is CAF?‏

If you are looking for an accommodation you probably heard about the help you can get from the CAF to pay your rent!

But, what's CAF exactly and what are the kinds of help you can get from the CAF for your accommodation?

What is CAF?

If you are looking for an accommodation in France you might have already heard the word "CAF" at your University International Office or in some article on Internet.

But what's CAF exactly??

Well it's a very common question among student.
In a nutshell CAF is the acronym for Caisse d'Allocations Familiales.
CAF
is the French Family Benefit Fund.
CAF can provide you some financial aid to pay your rent.

What kind of help can I get from the CAF?

You have to know that CAF will not find you an accommodation. To find an accommodation, you better look at the housing solution in Paris on yourself

By the way, we have built a list of accommodation for people who are looking a place to stay in Paris or in its suburbs; you better look at it ;)

So by reading this you understand that it's your job to find an accommodation first.

However, CAF can help you financially to pay your rent!

For a student, CAF housing subsidy can be made through the CAF website or at CAF offices.

CAF conditions to be entitle to housing subsidy:

Please, make sure to check the official conditions on CAF website because the condition could have changed since the time we wrote this article for you ;)

Who can apply to CAF housing subsidy
?

All students' regardless of their nationality.

You are certainly entitled to a CAF housing subsidy if
:

  1.  You rent, co-rent or sub-rent a housing
    If you share a flat, each roommate must make an application, mentioning his/her share of rent. Each roommate must sign the lease

  2.  Your housing has a surface of at least 9m² (16m² if 2 persons share the place)

 

  • You don’t need to produce a residence permit to apply for CAF housing subsidy if you are a student from the European Union or European Economic Space (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungaria, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Rumania, United Kingdom, Slovaquia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland)
  • To get the CAF housing subsidy if you are not a citizen from a European Union country you must hold a valid residence permit


When to apply to CAF housing subsidy?
 
You must apply for CAF housing allowance as soon as you have moved into your flat.

Ice Skating Rink in Grand Palais

After our several invitations for an ice skating time in Paris open sky with Trocadéro on Ice and the ice skating rink in Eiffel Tower, let's switch to an indoor ice skating rink!
Just in case snow comes up and you still want to enjoy winter pleasure in a warmer place ;)

This time we invite you to peak a sneak at the Grand Palais ice skating rink.

Grand Palais ice skating rink, also known as "Grand Palais des Glaces" is famous for being the biggest indoor ice skating rink of the world!

As a quick notice, Grand Palais is the big building with the glass roof located down to the Champs Elysées Avenue.
Like the Eiffel Tower, Grand Palais was built before 1900 for the Universal Exhibition.

On Grand Palais rink you will find two kind of atmosphere:

  • During the day while you'll be able to enjoy the rink and impress your friends with the quality of your sliding knowledge
  • At Night when the rink becomes a huge dance floor so you'll be able to have a "slide clubbing style" over the best DJ set to set you in a party mood as in nightclub! 

You'll be able to enjoy Grand Palais des Glaces rink during 3 weeks from Sunday 14th of December to Sunday 4th of January 2015.

Grand Palais ice skating rink is opened every day from 10:00 to 2:00, but you better have a look at Grand Palais des Glaces website before coming to make sure you prevent and avoid any exceptional closure.

Erasmus of Paris English-French / French-English takes place in relaxed and casual atmosphere =)

Erasmus of Paris English-French / French-English will take place ................ at ........ from 20:00 to 23:00.
Entrance are free but you might order a drink (it doesn't need to be alcohol, you are the one who decide what you want to take) at least once during the exchange.

During the English-French / French-English conversation exchange you can be talking one to another or with a bunch of people in groups; it's up to you ;)

Erasmus of Paris Language Exchange‏

Welcome all,

Your Erasmus of Paris Fellows are glad to present you some "Language Exchange" which takes place in relaxed and casual atmosphere =)

But What is a Language Exchange?


"Languages Exchange", also known as "Polyglot Exchange", "Polyglot Meetings" or "Linguistic Exchange" is a unique concept for people who want to improve a language to learn the language directly from native speakers by chatting with them.

Going to a "Language Exchange" or "Polyglot Exchange" will be the perfect moment for you to:

  • French / Locals: practice your English and other tongue with people from around the world
  • Foreigners: improve or learn French with locals
  • Meet people from every country of the world and make new friends to go out!
  • Talk about casual and funny topics in a cheerful atmosphere ;)

How the Erasmus of Paris Language Exchange does looks like?

At Erasmus of Paris Language Exchange nobody will judge the level of your skills.

Whoever you are a beginner, an intermediate or an expert you are invited to practice in our Polyglot Exchange ;)

Just come as you are with the skills you have, no more and no less.
As long as you want to have fun and learn at the same time and meet new people to talk about your own or their own experiences you're gonna have fun ;) 

Usually during Erasmus of Paris Language Exchange people have discussions in a casual atmosphere around a good drink of their choice and talk about many different subjects - be patient we will give you some example soon ;)
You are invited to talk, as you wish, one to another or with a bunch of people in groups; it's up to you ;)

Foire du Trône Amusement Park

Let's celebrate spring venue and enjoy the first sunny days in a big open sky amusement park!

La Foire du Trône is a temporary amusement park which takes place in the eastern side of Paris close to Vincennes forest.

La Foire du Trône it's more than 300 attractions and 60 days to have fun with your friends in the main attractions:

  • The Ferris Wheel
  • Roller Coasters
  • The Scary Haunted House
  • Bumper Cars
  • Carousel
  • and so on!

If you like sensations you're gonna love this place!

For food lovers, cotton candy, churros, pancakes and waffles are waiting for you ;)

Good places to enjoy snow time in Paris

You just look up through the window and ... oO what a surprise it's snowing in Paris!

Lucky you, seeing the whole Paris cover of snowflakes is not so common.
It means that this is a big moment to get amazed and enjoy some skiing activities :)

That's why we decided to give you the best places to admire the view of Paris under the snow and the best spots to have fun doing some snow games ;)
