Located in the North-West of Paris Monceau Park is known for its oval shape.
Inspired by an English-Chinese style from the 18th century, Monceau Park is considered as the first irregular garden with outdoor curiosities.
Monceau Park is thought by many to represent a new concept in garden design, with modern art influences and a variety of points of interest for the visitor.
Some examples of the modern art style are the fake antique ruins that you have on the banks of a lake, the little bridge, a grotto and even an Egyptian pyramid.
But the craziest thing which happened in Parc Monceau was the capture of a wolf in 1972!
Monceau is also a beautiful park, decorated with tons of flowers, where people like to go jogging or to picnic on the grass after work during summer time.
