Parc de la Villette is something of a modern art park.

From la Géode which is the big rounded sphere, composed of 6433 metallic mirrors, to the red metallic walkway going through the crazy turning chairs; you will be pleased if you want to take stupid pictures during the afternoon ;p

In la Villette Park, you can quit the city for a while and get into the tropical bamboo forest.
Yes you will need imagination to feel completely in tropical forest, especially because of the weather conditions, but this bamboo forest is worth seeing.

And if you feel tired, you can go to la Villette to relax and lay on the grass!

By the way, if the weather is not so good to stay in the park, and if you are a complete nerd (yes, you do watch the big bang theory, this is geeky and I know it ;p) you can visit the Science Museum also known as La Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie de la Villette.
