Public halls of residence belong to the state and are one of the most inexpensive accommodation solutions in Paris.
But places are limited and priority is given to French students with scholarships.
If you want to apply for public halls of residence you should visit the Crous website (regional student's welfare office).
- Crous Paris if your university is located in Paris (zip code in 75xxx)
- Crous Créteil or Crous Versailles if your university is located in Paris region (zip code of your school in 93xxx, 94xxx, 77xxx for Crous Créteil or zip code in 78xxx, 91xxx, 92xxx, 95xxx for Crous Versailles)
